Pretty in Pink Margarita

Pretty in Pink Margarita

I have been on two binges lately: watermelon and margaritas. Okay, not a binge but enjoying them a lot! I bought a watermelon last week to practice with a few recipes. Brad doesn’t like watermelon, so I was stuck with the entire thing. I also ordered it from grocery pickup, so I couldn’t choose the size that I wanted. Hence, margarita recipes coming out the wazoo. This Pretty in Pink Margarita is arguably one of the prettiest cocktails I’ve made so far.

Pretty in Pink Margarita

The Watermelon Berry Margarita I made last week is remarkably similar to this one, except for the addition of raspberries and the subtraction of orange juice. I realize they are a lot alike, but this one is SO MUCH PRETTIER that I had to make it feel special with its own recipe.

I use a Vitamix blender in this recipe to achieve a perfectly smooth consistency. Any blender will work in this recipe!

I was in awe at the color produced in this margarita. Raspberry really brightened it up and gave it such a bright pink hue. Pretty in Pink is such a perfect name for this margarita. It would be a perfect drink to have with the girls by the pool, a Bachelorette party, or even a fun video chat! This drink makes me want to throw a Pretty in Pink themed party! Maybe when all this COVID stuff is over and things finally get back to normal.
